Dynamic probing

Dynamic probing pursuant to DIN EN ISO 22476-2 is an indirect testing technique that does not involve sampling. This type of investigation involves driving a penetrometer with a defined drop weight from a defined drop height into the soil. The number of impacts per ten centimetres of penetration depth (N10) is then recorded in a diagram. For dynamic probing at shallow depths, we generally use a lightweight DPL penetrometer. For greater depths, we use medium-heavy to heavy DPH
